Yes, it’s time once again to stroll our vineyards and talk grapes. It’s like leaning over the farm fence and chatting about the growing season. Was there enough rain? Too much? Too little? Did we make the right choices about cultivation and crop levels? Viticulturalists (a fancy way of saying “grape farmers”) talk about this all the time. We want to bring you into that conversation so you can understand and appreciate the wines in your glass at a deeper level.
Wine Club members and accompanying friends are all welcome (members must purchase all tickets for any group). We will start with our traditional coffee and cookies from our pastry department, which will lead nicely into our vineyard tour and terroir tasting. The stories will be “unvarnished” as usual, and it will center on the 2026 grapes and what to expect, variety by variety. We will also offer a tank sample of one of the new, freshly fermenting wines.
We also want to introduce you to a great European Harvest crush pad tradition – vin vert et tarte à l'oignon (freshly fermenting wine and onion quiche). We promise that it’s a match made in heaven! I look forward to enjoying it every Harvest, as it can only be created once a year. So please join us by securing your tickets now, as they are limited. It’s time to come home for Harvest and pull up a chair to taste a hundreds-of-year-old tradition!
*Remember that this is “Bring Your Boots” for a reason; it’s not just a catchy name. Rain or shine, we will trudge around the vineyard and inspect the status of vines and grapes.
*Wine Club Members, please sign into your account so you are recognized as a member (be sure to use the email associated with your wine club membership) to access this member-only event.
