This premium Chardonnay is cloudy and thank goodness. We have intentionally bottled this wine without filtering as the lees that remain (fine suspended sediment from the original fermentation) provide an incredible creamy, integrated mouthfeel that would otherwise be stripped out with filtration. Simply stated, this Chardonnay has been left alone so it may live up to its full potential. Crisp fall apple, Sicilian lemon, Bosc pear and a touch of fresh biscuit dominate the nose of this complex wine. In the mouth the wine is full and does not disappoint. Although the intended cloudiness may catch you by surprise, the resulting richness will also astound you and keep you coming back.
