The singularity of this wine is striking and the seam of bright acidity gives it great life. As Pinot Blanc is often considered a wine of limited breadth and depth, it is interesting to “push” on the Bo-Teek version and watch it expand to engaging dimension. The crisp citrus, Bosc Pear, mild wildflower and melon are well defined and yet, still elusive. This wine will lead you on a cheery chase as you try to pin it down. Food is your only ally as this Pinot Blanc loves acidic dishes with lemon as a liquid garnish and briny morsels. It is worth every effort as this wine will gleefully improve every mouthful.
