2017 Vidal Icewine
The 2017 Vidal Icewine is a classic concentration of flavour with all the earmarks of what makes Vidal a solid go to grape for the challenging Icewine process. The profile flavours are clean and focused with apricot, dried peach and hints of orange rind showing above the rest. Wildflower honey rumbles underneath and carries a notable clove and nutmeg spice. The engaging concentrations are evident but the wine still boasts an unexpected turn or two. The bright acidity keeps the wine’s message focused and each sip leaves you wanting more.
