This is a very rare release for Vineland Estates Winery but it is always worth the wait. The complex nose of perfectly dried apple, plum and apricot has an underpinning of juicy mango and wildflower honey. There is also a subtle spice in this pitch-perfect, heavenly song. A lively acidity keeps this wine accessible and deftly dancing to its own tune. Although naturally sweet by the extended growing season, it still refreshes with a slight astringency and a palate sweeping tartness. “Unicorns”, like this wine, are seldom seen, but they do make a huge impact and bring joy for as long as they last.
