2017 Select Late Harvest Vidal
Extended time on the vine allows the Vidal grapes to develop more complexity and depth while the juice naturally concentrates. It is a timeless process that we use to make memorable dessert style wines that are more approachable and less sweet than Icewine. Citrus notes dance lightly on a rich background of wildflower honey, fresh summer melon, dried peach and Macintosh apple. The sparky energy of the fresh acidity keeps the array of flavours focussed and defined while still giving the perfect taste balance to the sweetness of the wine. The warm, comforting end of the growing season is elegantly displayed in this happy wine.
